Cogniscope: AI for Early Cognitive Decline Detection via Social Media

This paper introduces Cogniscope, a simulation framework designed to generate social media interaction data for studying digital biomarkers of cognitive decline, specifically Alzheimer's and Mild Cognitive Impairment. The significance lies in its potential to provide a non-invasive, cost-effective, and scalable method for early detection, addressing limitations of traditional diagnostic tools. The framework's ability to model heterogeneous user trajectories and incorporate micro-tasks allows for the generation of realistic data, enabling systematic investigation of multimodal cognitive markers.
